It’s A Bird…It’s A Plane…It’s Launchpool’s Next AME!! Can You Guess What It Is?
Yesterday, we teased an announcement for the next Launchpool AME. We were pleasantly surprised to know that a few of our Twitter and Telegram members got it right instantly. This reaffirms the belief, that we are brining to the table, the Projects that our Community would like to see offered. Great minds, think together!!
The Launchpool Team is constantly reviewing Projects, behind the scenes, looking for the best Projects to offer to our Investor Community. All potential Projects are initially reviewed by in-house analysts, who consider a wide variety of parameters including but not limited to: team experience, community traction, development stage and problem being solved. Once they have been reviewed, they then get passed on to the Investment Council, who would determine if there is project potential.
Once Projects pass this stage, a meeting is called with the Team and an interview process begins. If all is good, further due diligence is done before an offer is made. Kindly know that all decisions made for the Projects on Launchpool are for the general best interest and benefit of our Investor Community.
Investors are encouraged to do their own due diligence before making the decision to invest.

GasNow Shutting Down, Sotheby’s Metaverse, and Rollups Myths
😢 GasNow Shutting Down 🤧
The popular gas tracker GasNow.org is shutting down. Without giving a reason for the closure, the site has posted the following: “We regret to announce that we will end all our services at 16:00 UTC+0 on the 15th of October, 2021”.
It is sad to see such a great tool go, but we hope the best for the Team in the future. Here is a list of some alternatives to check gas prices.
NOTE: For security avoid installing any extensions you don’t need.
💸 Sotheby’s Metaverse! 💸
Legendary auction house Sotheby’s has launched a curated NFT platform, continuing it’s adventures into the Crypto and NFT sphere.
The platform will accept both fiat and crypto as payment. Competing auction house Christie’s is no slouch either having been the first major auction house to sell an NFT.

The reddit user u/Liberosist posted a great explainer about some common rollup myths and concerns. It’s a great read for anyone interested in Layer 1 scaling.
