Announcing The Next AME - Circularr

Launching The World’s First Sustainable Crypto Asset Backed By Transparent Recycling And Manufacturing.

Hello LPOOLers, the time has come for another Allocation Mining Event! Circularr is coming to Launchpool on Monday 9th May 2022, for a pre-IDO AME!!

Circularr is a sustainable blockchain ecosystem. Focused on the incubation and development of sustainable crypto assets backed by sustainable commodities. The first asset will be backed by plastic recycling and the value of rPET plastic.

Circularr was born out of a need to provide transparency and traceability to legitimise sustainability claims and eliminate green washing by individuals and organisations. Circularr’s solution will not only power traceability and work to commoditise the value of recycled plastic, and other sustainable assets; but the ecosystem will also be used as a tool for advertising and promotion by organisations and individuals while also providing ESG and CSR benefits.

Join us in Launchpool’s Telegram Community on Monday 9th May at 11am UTC, for a live AMA session with the Circularr Team as they provide further insights into the project.

Hints & Tips - Trust The Block, Not The Clock.

About Time: How To Monitor Block Numbers When Investing On Launchpool And Launchpool Labs

Launchpool uses smart contracts to facilitate Community partnership in the early stages of crypto projects. Smart contracts are executed when pre-defined blocks are mined on the blockchain. The smart contract is controlled by block time, not clock time. The contracts are coded to execute when a certain block number is mined on the blockchain.

To take an example, when we set-up an Allocation Mining Event on the Binance chain, we input one block number to execute the opening of the deposit window, and then another block number to execute the transition from the deposit window to the start of rewards being mined.

In total we input four block numbers into the smart contract to run an AME:

  • Deposit window opens

  • Rewards begin

  • Rewards end/payment window opens

  • Payment window closes

🤯 Coffeezilla Exposes SafeMoon 🤯

The popular crypto-investigator Coffeezilla has set his sights on the crypto project Safemoon, calling it a 1 billion dollar scam in its new 3-part series.

The series includes chain analysis, interviews with the former Dev, and weathering threats of lawsuits. Coffeezilla makes claims that SafeMoon's Devs and CEO committed fraud, misappropriated funds, and lied to investors.

His series is ongoing and it will be interesting to see what happens from here.

🔷 Yuga Labs Slows Down Ethereum 🔷

ETH gas price surges as Yuga Labs cashes in $300M selling Otherside NFTs

Yuga Labs, creators of BAYC and ApeCoin, have created a new project called Otherdeeds NFT and temporally made the Ethereum network's gas fees jump to $1000+.

We're sorry for turning off the lights on Ethereum for a while. It seems abundantly clear that ApeCoin will need to migrate to its own chain in order to properly scale. We'd like to encourage the DAO to start thinking in this direction.

The reason for this was that the auction for the NFTs was a fix market, rather than something like a dutch auction. This meant that the only limit to buying them was how much gas you were willing to spend to get in front of the line.

Yuga is facing criticism for this with some people claiming that it was an intentional stunt. In response, Yuga said that it’s considering making its own chain to address the issue.

😤 Wikipedia Stops Accepting Crypto 😤

The world’s largest encyclopedia is now rejecting crypto donations, citing environmental concerns regarding the wastefulness of Proof of Work consensus. Though an early supporter of crypto, the collaborative project has now decided to part ways with the ecosystem.

Other charity projects, however, still take crypto such as

- The Internet Archive

- The Giving Block

- The Electronic Frontier Foundation

- The Tor Project
